3rd Year is over! Pass or Fail, I am officially a 4th Med now :) Though I would of course like to pass. Hehe
Long Case today went fine, thank God. The best part of the day had to be when they told me I was assigned to the Medical ward. OMGYAY! No hernias/varicose veins kthx. Hehehe.I was supposed to be in Male ward but there were too many students in there I had to be pushed to the female ward. Alone. So lonely.
So it was a pretty straightforward case. I don't know why Pulmonary Oedema was my 2nd diagnosis when it was soooooo obvious. It's gonna haunt me forever. Haha she asked me about JVP characteristics and also surface marking of the IJV. Hehehe all those nights cramming for anatomy cardsigning finally paid off. But I mistook a weird coarse-sounding expiratory wheeze for a coarse crepitation/pleural rub. That's another thing that's going to haunt me forever.
