It's 2am on a Sunday and instead of studying, I am ONLINE. Never mind the fact that I have an exam a bit more than 24 hours from now. Oh well.
Hmmm you probably never knew this about me..but I used to be COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH POKEMON! Actually, I think I still am.
It all started one fateful day when my mom got me a Gameboy Color with a game cartridge containing about a 100 games. And one of them was POKEMON BLUE. I thought I was too cool for it at first, so my sister started to play on my GBC and forced me to help her choose a primary Pokemon. Of course I had no idea what the pokemons names are so I just went and chose randomly. I chose a SQUIRTLE. Wow.....little did I know what was to happen next.
That was IT for me. OMG I went absolutely nuts over Pokemon ever since. Played the game every free minute I had (at one point my mom had to confiscate my GBC cos I wasn't studying!) , printed out pages after pages of game walkthrough (and filed it, and passed it on to all my friends who were also playing, with a fee of course!), I even bought a POKEMON GUIDE BOOK! I ACTUALLY MEMORISED THE NAMES OF ALL 151 POKEMONS! Yeah back then there were only 151 Pokemon. OMG even writing this is bringing back all the ooeygooeypokemonlove <3<3
So yeah back to the game. I treated my Squirtle as if he was my actual pet. It's quite embarassing to admit now but I was sad everytime he was defeated, excited when he levelled up and let's not even start on how I felt when he EVOLVED. Haha those were the days. By the time I finished the game, I had assembled a Pokemon dream team.

MUAHAHHAHAAHHA all Level 100 (of course I cheated!). I also collected 148/151 pokemon which is probably a cool thing even now! It was impossible to catch a primary pokemon (squirtle,charmander and bulbasaur) so I bought a gameboy cable and traded pokemons with my sister. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA am I cool or what?
After I finished the game 6 times, I wanted to start the next Pokemon game (diamond or something) but then real life caught up with me and I had absolutely no time to go all teenybopperyOCD about the pokemons. I also started to get annoyed with all the new pokemons that popped up. BORING!
Sigh. The point of this entry is....
I LOVE POKEMON. AND I DONT CARE WHO KNOWS IT.
So here's to the one that started it all....

p/s: In case you were wondering, my favourite Pokemon is BULBASAUR! Cutest thing EVER. I remember watching the series and there was this episode dedicated to Bulbasaur. I of course went out straight away to get in on VCD. Hehe

im so oldskool i had to google infernape. how to battle like this? havent played pokemon since pokemon blue. argh. but i'll bet my squirtle could kick your infernape's butt. hehe
i think it's time to start playing again....diamond is the latest version zit? i know what i want for my next birthday ;);)
