My dad has always been a huuuge video game fan for as long as I can remember. The first memory I had was when I was 7 and we were in Dublin, my dad kept forcing me to play Street Fighter (the really old one!) and Tennis with him. I dont remember the name of our game console back then but I know it's the kind where you have to stick the game cartridge in. Old skool babeh. Hehehe. Even now on Sunday mornings I'd wake up to find him in the TV room playing Wii Tennis. OBSESSED! And he's really particular about these consoles. He won't even let me bring our olllddd unused PS2 to Penang when he has the Wii.
And so naturally over the years that love for video games has passed on to us kids. More so to me than my sister. My favourite kind of game is the horror RPG type but I've always been too chicken to play so to overcome that I'd recruit a braver friend to play while I act as the "brains" behind the whole thing. Meaning I download walkthroughs off the internet, read forums..the works. Hehe good times. Silent Hill will always be the AWESOMEST game in the horror genre.
Unfortunately my mom has this supposed strict no-game-console-policy and she's always trying to discourage us from buying all the consoles for fear we won't study or won't focus in school. Bah. Somehow we've (actually just my dad) has managed to con her into letting us buy every one of those consoles. From that old Nintendo one we have, to some sega one I've forgotten the name, PS, PS2 and WII. Hahahhaha. But with the release of PS3 my mom has somehow gotten wiser and has REFUSED to even discuss the possibility of us owning one. ARGHHHHH!!!!
I don't mind so much but WHAT IF KINGDOM HEARTS 3 GETS RELEASED SOON ON THE PS3? I'D DIE IF I CAN'T PLAY THAT!!!! Oh yeah Kingdom Hearts is also one of the most awesomest game ever. That would probably get its own entry. Moving on...
So imagine my surprise when my sister told me this...........
Lia: hey guess what dad told me yesterday?
Fra: what?
Lia: he's hoping you'd ask for a PS3 for your birthday so he can bug mom and then he can play!
Fra: SERIOUSLY???
WE SHALL SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And this also means I might get that old PS2 to bring back!!! KINGDOM HEARTS RERUNS HERE I COME!!!!
Ok class starts in 20 mins and I'm still at home!! Hahaha ciao!

haha u mean the console or what? i think mine was a nintendo. still remember the tennis game hahaha so lame compared to now. yay for video games!! haha oh i hateeee football games cos im not good at it! argh!
